Nestled in the mountains of WNC, we serve fresh, farm-to-table meals alongside curated wines, local brews, and a vibrant marketplace.

Our Story

Our love for farming began out of the need for access to fresh and local organic goods we sought after in our own household. Living in the city, at the time, left us with next to no options to shop the way we wanted, and so we wanted to be that change. In 2017, we purchased our first farm in Montgomery, TX and went public as community accessible producer.

As our operation grew, our commitment and understanding of the importance, that our local food system brings, became our foundation for growing and living. From the very beginning we focused on chemical free and regenerative practices. Using learned skills and studying hard to be as waste free & as resource positive as possible in our farming. Not only did we learn a long the way, but document our successes and failures, and have made it a point to share our experience growing with others through classes and public speaking. Having access to fresh food, and learning sustainability, is a gift to anyone willing to try. And if it’s not your thing, we are here for you!

Our products reflect our values. We use great ingredients that shine in bold flavors, our skincare is unique and offers healthier alternatives that condition and nurture skin & we work intently to grow nutrient dense healthy produce so you can taste the difference!

Years later, we have relocated to the mountains in Hendersonville NC, but not much has changed. We continue operating in a way that has a low footprint with high yield. We have adapted our small scale farming practices to our environment and proved you can farm big on any scale of land.

In 2024, we’ve faced challenges due to damages we sustained with Hurricane Helene. We lost about 90% of the tools and supplies that make our farm function as a business. Because of generosity from our community and continued support from customers, friends & businesses all of the places our products have reached, we were able to get essentials that allow us to move forward. Thank you! And of course, we needed a place to farm as well. While a kind friend provided us temporary space to cultivate and stay afloat until we could find a new home, we've finally found just the right place this past year!

Our location at 1307 7th Ave hosts our urban farm, farm shoppe & eatery! The place you know as, The local table! New to the restaurant business, we always say we are farmers first! The eatery is an extension of the work we do behind the scenes...seed to table.
